"Kingsman: The Golden Circle" is a 2017 action-comedy film and a sequel to the 2014 movie "Kingsman: The Secret Service." Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the film follows the story of a secret spy organization known as Kingsman, based in the UK.
The movie begins with an attack on the Kingsman headquarters by a mysterious drug lord named Poppy Adams. She destroys the organization, leaving only two surviving members, Eggsy Unwin (played by Taron Egerton) and Merlin (played by Mark Strong). They discover a hidden message that leads them to their American counterparts, a secret spy organization called Statesman.
Eggsy and Merlin travel to the United States and meet with the Statesman agents, including their leader, Champagne "Champ" (played by Jeff Bridges), and agents Tequila (played by Channing Tatum) and Ginger Ale (played by Halle Berry). Together, they form an alliance to take down Poppy Adams, who plans to hold the world hostage by contaminating recreational drugs with a deadly virus.
As they investigate Poppy's activities, they learn that she has kidnapped Eggsy's mentor, Harry Hart (played by Colin Firth), who was presumed dead after the first film. They rescue Harry but discover that he has amnesia and must help him regain his memory.
The team faces various challenges, including encounters with Poppy's henchmen, such as the cybernetically enhanced Charlie Hesketh (played by Edward Holcroft) and her robotic attack dogs. They also encounter conflicts within their own ranks and struggle to trust each other.
In a race against time, the Kingsman and Statesman must stop Poppy's plan and save millions of lives. They engage in a final showdown at Poppy's hidden jungle base in Cambodia, where they manage to defeat her forces and destroy her drug manufacturing facilities. However, not without sacrifices, as some of the main characters, including Merlin and Harry, sacrifice themselves to save the world.
In the end, Eggsy becomes the leader of the newly rebuilt Kingsman organization, and the surviving members of Statesman continue their partnership. The film concludes with the world acknowledging the heroic actions of the Kingsman and recognizing them as legitimate international spy agency.
